i was trying to take a picture of myka, and she wouldn’t smile. then i started singing patty cake and this is the face i got. melt my heart!
i really do love pasadena in the summertime…and myka likes dancing with daddy.

…we are currently at myka’s 4 month check up and this is what’s on my mind.
so the other day i had to do laundry. and leaving myka alone in the apt just doesn’t feel right to me…so i tried out this sling. we got it a long time ago, but she didn’t like it as a newborn. this time she loved it. i think it had to do with the fact that she could sit up and see out. she seriously sat like this for an hour without a peep. she’s such a cutie!
i swear…i don’t know how i’m going to survive my tuesdays…
7am wake up and nurse
8:30 at work…email, phone calls, meetings.
10am pump…at work…which STINKS
12:15 race home…see husband…eat lunch…nurse
1:20 back at work
1:45 meetings all afternoon
3:45 matt has meeting, takes myka
4pm get myka, nurse, head home
5:30 dinner while myka naps
6 matt comes home, i go swim
7 nurse
8 myka to bed, matt to library
10pm pump and go to sleep…
too much too much too much…and yet i had time to do this?!!
so my heart is sad this week as i’m back at work…but Matt has been amazing and is sending me pictures of Myka and how she’s doing throughout the day…
